John Joseph Peddle

June 7, 1945 – September 10, 2019

With heavy hearts we share the passing of John Joseph Peddle. Loving and devoted husband to Joan, wonderful parent to Karen and Katrina (Anna-Louise), gentle Poppy to Ty, Isis and Aliyah. Predeceased by his parents, Bernard and Margaret, siblings Joan Scoville and Gerald Peddle. Remembered fondly by his siblings Mary Greene (Art, deceased), Patrick Peddle (Patricia), Ann Baldock (Fred), Theresa Peddle, and sister-in-law Esther Peddle. Loved by his in-laws Basil Power (Wanda, deceased), Olive Power (Ed, deceased), Hilda Power (Jeff), Kevin Power (Cathy), Ruth Hayley (Bob), Michael Power (Suzanne), Barbara (deceased) and Brian (deceased). John cared deeply for his family, friends and community. He showed us all the difference a kind heart can make. We thank our friends and family for their tremendous support during his illness. We also wish to thank the staff on 5th floor, WMRH and the staff on 4 South, LTC. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Friday from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 PM. A memorial celebrating his beautiful life will be held on Saturday, September 14 at 10:30 a.m. from Fillatre’s Funeral Chapel, St. Mark’s Avenue with a reception to follow at the Glynmill Inn. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Western Memorial Hospital Foundation.
