We regret to announce the passing of dear father, grandfather and great grandfather on Wednesday, December 15,2004 at the QE II Heallth Science Center in Halifax, NS. Born on May 15, 1925 he was the son of the late Israel and Alfreda (Dicks) Lillington. He is survived by sons Thomas and Richard (Una) of Port Aux Basques and daughter Marilyn (David) Underhill of Lower Sackville, NS and Sister Dorothy 'Dolly' Stansburry (Ontario) along with loved and cherished grandchildren Wayne (Minnie), Shawn (Christine), Trina (Hayden), Natasha (Earl), Stud (Johnny), Theresa and Jamie and six great grandchildren Brittany, Gregory, Katie, Kyle, Zachary and Isabella. lie was predeceased by his wife of 49 years Mary, son Gary, sisters Minnie, Ivy, Martha, a brother Herbert and siblings in infancy. Arrangements were intrusted to Fillatres Funeral Home, 134 Main Street Port Aux Basques. Family accepted visitors at the funeral home from 2-4 and 7-9pm Saturday, December 18, 2004 with funeral service on Sunday, December 19, 2004 at 2pm from St. James Anglican Church where interment followed in St. James Anglican Cemetery, Barchois Hill.
