1921 – 2019

 

It is with great sadness that the family of the late James Walter Caines announce his passing on Tuesday, September 10, 2019 surrounded by his family at the Carbonear Long Term Care Centre at the age of 98. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his  children: Elizabeth (James), Tom (Verna); grandchildren: Christopher (Rachelle), Jacqueline, Joanne; great-grandchildren: Maddison, Amelia, Avery; his 3 special children: Joshua, Nicholas and Robyn; plus many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.  He was predeceased by his wife Evelyn. Visitation will be held at the Good Shepherd Anglican Church, Norris Point on Friday, September 13th from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm, the funeral service will be held at the Good Shepherd Anglican Church on Saturday, September 14th at 2pm with The Rev. DCN Wilhelmina Green officiating. The interment will follow at the Anglican Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Good Shepherd Anglican Church. The family guest book may be signed by visiting www.fillatre.ca.
