It is with great sadness that the family of the late Annie Marion Bursey announce her passing on Friday, September 13, 2019 at the Corner Brook Long Term Care Facility at the age of 88 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Judy (Glen) Cooper, Ann Marie (Perry) Cooper and Robert (Nancy) Bursey; grandchildren: Ryan (Kim), Andrew, Justin (Paula), Sarah and Tyler; great-granddaughter Julia; brother Franklin (Jean) Johnson; sister Wanda (Allan) Dalley; brother Wayne (Donna) Johnson; sister-in-law Joan Johnson; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her partner Lloyd Samson, parents Stanley and Mae Johnson, sister Lillian Mosher and brother Robert Johnson. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Sunday from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Monday, September 16 at 2:00 p.m. from Fillatre’s Funeral Chapel with Rev. Jocelyn Cook officiating. Cremation to follow. As expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Daffodil Place.
