Obituary of Gilbert Garfield Budden

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Gilbert Garfield Budden announce his passing on Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at the Corner Brook Western Memorial Hospital at the age of 86. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Rita; son Gilbert (Janetta) Budden, daughter Wilma Budden, son Ronald Budden; grandchildren: James (Aimee) Budden, April Budden, Olivia Combdon; great-grandchildren: Shauna, Dylan and Jaden Budden; sisters: Lucilla Regular, Rhobena (Robert) Tilley, Trixie Pittman, Peggy Budden; sisters and brother-in-laws: Olga Budden, Muriel Lane, Cecily Rickets, Golda and James Hewitt, McKinley Fradsham; son-in-law Richard Combdon, plus a large circle of nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his daughter Janet Budden, parents Alfred and Olive Budden; sisters: Gertie Fradsham, Patricia (Ernest) Ricketts; brothers: Francis and Aaron Budden; half brothers Cecil, Archable Pinksens; in-laws: Herbert and Caroline Pittman, Robert and David Pittman, Susie Davis, Leonard Regular and Frank Ricketts. Visitation will be held at the Transformation Anglican Church, Sops Arm on Friday, September 20^th from 7-9 pm and the funeral service will be held at the Transformation Anglican Church on Saturday, September 21^st at 2 pm with The Ven. Ed King officiating. The interment will follow at the Anglican Church Cemetery.
