Obituary of Mary Madeline Nuna
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mary Madeline Nuna announce her passing on Thursday, September 19, 2019 in Sheshatshiu at the age of 87 years. She will be sadly missed by her children: Pien Nuna, Theresa Pinette, Ann Marie Andrew, Basile Nuna, Justine Nuna, Emmett Nuna, Edward Nuna, Gregory Nuna; 37 grandchildren, 81 great grandchildren, 14 great-great grandchildren; adopted children: Alexander Nuna, Francine Nuna, Michel Nuna, Anshenik Nuna, Robert Nuna and Uniam Nuna. She was predeceased by her parents Pierre and Justine Gregoire, husband Joseph Nuna. Visitation Saturday, September 21, 2019 from 7 – 9 P.M. at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Sunday, September 22, 2019 visitation at her residence, 12 Shimun Street, Sheshatshiu from 12 noon till 9 P.M. Funeral service Monday, September 23, 2019 2 P.M. at the Community Youth Network Centre, Sheshatshiu with Fr. Joe Vellenkanni officiating. Interment to follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery in Sheshatshiu, NL.
