It is with great sadness that the family of the late Robert George Wells announce his passing on Monday, September 23, 2019 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 85 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 59 years Sylvia Wells (nee Hare); brother Hector Wells; sisters-in-law Betty Wells and Dorothy Clarke; brother-in-law Clayton (June) Hare; nephews and nieces: Robert, Paula, Cathy, Catherine, Martha, Richard and Lisa; as well as a large circle of other relatives and many friends. He was predeceased by his parents George and Ada Wells, brothers John, Carlyle and Richard Wells and sister Cynthia Badcock. Cremation has taken place. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Wednesday, September 25 from the hours of 12 Noon-2:00 p.m. from where the funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. with Archbishop Stewart Payne officiating. Interment to follow at the United Townsite Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to the Dialysis Unit, Western Memorial Regional Hospital or a charity of one’s choice.
