Obituary of Ivy Grace Hodder
Deer Lake
August 27, 1936 – October 3, 2019
It is with great sadness that the family of Ivy Hodder announce her sudden passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook, on Thursday, October 3rd, 2019 at the age of 83 years.
Ivy leaves to mourn her children Cathy, Geraldine (Glenn), Vernon (Barbara) and Sophie (Brian); her sisters Daisy, Jessie, Effie, Hilda and Amy; and her brother Ray. She leaves a large family of 13 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren; and special pet friend Gracie. She was predeceased by her husband Gerald Hodder; her parents Edgar and Grace Nichols; her sisters Janet, Emma and Bertha Wright and Harriet, Voila, Lyra, Brertha Wiseman; her brothers Edgar and Russell; and her son-in-law Bobby Young.
She will be remembered fondly by her family and those that knew her. In keeping with Ivy’s wishes no funeral service will be held.
Forever loved and missed.
