CATHERINE JOYCE TEMPLE Corner Brook, NL March 29th, 1940 - January 31st, 2009 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Catherine Joyce Temple announce her passing after a brief and brave battle with cancer on Saturday, January 31st, 2009 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 68 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband of 51 years Bill, son Bill (Eva Tirman), Leduc, Alb., daughter Lavina (Bert) Martin, Winnipeg, MB, granddaughter Jennifer Temple (Jeff Dyck), Surrey, BC, sister Loretta Payne, Curling. As well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Israel and Alice Dove, brother Norman, sisters Louise Rideout and Georgie Jenkins. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 4th at 2:00 PM from the Salvation Army Temple, O’Connell Drive. As expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Palliative Care Unit, Western Memorial Regional Hospital.
