Viola Hatcher

1928 – 2019

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Viola Hatcher announce her passing on Thursday, October 10, 2019 at the Calder Health Centre in Burgeo at the age of 91 years. She was predeceased by her mother Sarah, father Isaac, husband Russell, son Wayne and grandson Myles. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her son Wallace (Olive); daughter Sarah (Harvey); son Russell (Lillian); daughter-in-law Dorothy; daughter Marsha (Kevin); son Harvey (Daisy); grandchildren: Valarie,David, Beverly, Marsha, Brent, Pamela, Trevor, Carly, Steven and Stephanie; 11 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will take place on Saturday, October 12 from St. Boniface Anglican Church in Ramea from where the funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 13 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Elsie Rose officiating. Interment to follow at St. Boniface Anglican Cemetery. Thanks to the staff at the Calder Health Centre for all their care. She will be missed by her family, the staff and all her friends. Donations may be made in her memory to the Calder Health Centre.
