It is with great sadness that the family of the late Sherry Ann Collier announces her passing on Thursday, January 25, 2018. She passed with her loving family by her side at Dr. Charles L LeGrow Health Centre in Port aux Basques at the age of 61 years. Born in Burnt Islands, she was the daughter of Myrtle (Hardy) and late Sidney Chaulk. She will be forever remembered and loved by her husband of 40 years, Gus; her mother, Myrtle Chaulk; her sons, Scott (Angela) Collier, Corner Brook and Sheldon (Kristylee) Collier, Port-aux-Basques; her pride and joy grandson, Knox and granddaughter, Kenzie; sisters, Wendy (Brad) Kehoe, Burlington, Ontario, and Wilma Lee Taylor, Burnt Islands; brother, David (Georgina) Chaulk, Burnt Islands, and mother-in-law, Lydia Collier; sister-in-law, Nancy Collier Worobec, Dartmouth, Nova Scotia; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Sherry was predeceased by her father, Sidney Chaulk and father-in-law, Martin Collier. Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 27th from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Fillatre’s Funeral Home and continuing on Sunday, January 28th from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at St. Michael’s and All Angels Church in Rose Blanche; with funeral service taking place on Monday, January 29th at 11:00 a.m at St. Michael’s and All Angels Church, with Rev. Jeffrey Petten officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Haven Cemetery, Isle-aux-Morts Road. Flowers are graciously accepted or donations in memory of Sherry can be made to Daffodil Place, 70 Ropewalk Lane, St. John’s, NL.
