To Mrs. Parks family,
I am so sorry to hear of Mrs. Park's passing she was a wonderful, kind, lovely person. I can remember when my Grandfather passed away she came to the funeral home to visit and she came right over to me and gave me the biggest hug and told me everything will be alright, she told me she has known my Grandparents for a lot of years. I have so many memories of Mrs. Park for the past 17 years, to letting my daughter Abigail go down to her house with Olivia or out playing in the yard to getting a nice big smile and she would hold her hand up everytime she would be out sitting on per bridge or even walking the road. She is going to be missed around our neightbourhood.

To Mary's family:
We have so many memories of Mrs. Park, avid Church goer, always stop to speak to us no matter where she seen us; if she wasn't close enough to speak her hand would go high in the air and she would smile. There was a true mother figure, she showed how much she loved her children, grandchildren and extended family, and if they when to work and didn't drop by for a bite to eat, well then you would see her going with apron still on, a covered plate in hand to ensure it stayed warm and she would delivered it piping hot meal to their door. I have even witnessed her dropping a scattered meal off at her children's place of work. Yes without a doubt she was a beautiful woman, and a dear and loving mother in every sense of the word. I think everyone that knew her witness how she slowly went downhill after the loss Mr. Park. We can all take a little comfort knowing that she is once again re-united with her sole-mate.
Our thoughts and Prayer are with you all during this difficult time we know too well how difficult it is to let go of a parent, especially a mother who seems to often be the heart of a family.

So sorry for your loss. The Parks have been a big part of my life for most of my life. When I would go home I would love to go visit them. As I said to Paula, I loved them dearly, but not in my teenage years. Lol. To all of Mamie & Jim’s children and your families,
we are so sad to hear of the passing of your beautiful Mother and Grandmother. We have so many fond memories of her over the past nine decades. From childhood friends jannying in Cox’s Cove, to standing up for our wedding, to celebrating our 60th anniversary with us, she (along with Jim) has been a part of our life for almost 90 years.
