Ruby Doreen McGinn passed peacefully away on Tuesday, October 29, 2019 at Corner Brook Long Term Care at the age of 79. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 60 years Robert Sr., sons Robert Jr. (Cecilia), Rodney (Juanita), grandchildren: Jason (Jennifer), Nancy (Patrick), Joshua, Jessica (Robert), Destiny, Kirkland, Grant, Meagan, Kirsten, Aaron, Ryan, Kara, great grandchildren Tyler, Katie, Carter, Hunter & Sadie; siblings Dorothy Pike, Lorraine Dowden (Cyril), Lloyd Wareham (Gaye), Louise Strickland, sisters-in-law Jean McGinn, Joy Hussey (Gordon), special niece Charmaine Forrester & her son Kenyon,  as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends.  Thank you to the 1st and 2nd floor staff of Corner Brook Long Term Care for the excellent care and compassion, we will always be grateful. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home 4 St. Marks Avenue Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be held Thursday, October 31st, 2019 at 11:00 am from Fillatre’s Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Jocelyn Cook officiating. Interment will be held at a later date. As expressions of sympathy memorial donations may be made to Corner Brook Long Term Care in care of the Western Regional Hospital Foundation.
