It is with great sadness that the family of the late Grace Stella Curtis announce her passing on Friday, November 8, 2019 at her home in Meadows at the age of 88 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Jerry (Toni), Gary (Brenda), Fred (Roberta), Patsy (Terry) Barrett, Brenda Curtis (Rodney Brake), Ivan Jr. (Wanda) and Tim (Allison); grandchildren: Jerry Jr. (Jen), Steven (Tasha), Lynn (Mike), Joe (Heather), Shawn (Hillary), Terry Jr. (Patricia), Tracey (Mark), Taralynn (Craig), Gerald (Charmaine), Ashley (Darrel), Adrain and Crystal (Lewis); great-grandchildren: Olivia, Liam, Faith, Sara, Billy, Nicole, Mitchell, Kyle, Shayna, Keisha, Lily, Ryder and Rylee; great-great-grandchildren: Meadow, Maverick and Cooper; 2 sisters: Marjorie Vatcher (Fred) and Carol Crocker; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Ivan, infant son Terrance, parents Stella and James Lavender, grandson Floyd, brother Fred, sisters Gladys (George) and Lillian, sister-in-law Wilena (Tom) Howe. A private visitation and funeral service will be held. Interment to take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to Ronald McDonald House or Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
