It is with great sadness that the family of the late Edison Simms announce his passing on Saturday, November 9th at Calder Health Center in Burgeo at the age of 76 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his siblings: sisters Rose (Stanley), Shirley (Ralph), Margaret (Graham), Effie (Allen) and Patricia; brothers Wesley, Sidney (Geraldine); as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other family and friends. He was predeceased by his parents John Edward and Sarah Mae; twin brother Hubert George, brothers Jack and Karl and by sister Minnie. The family will be receiving friends from St. Boniface Anglican Church in Ramea on Monday November 11th from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 pm from where Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday, November 12th at 2: pm with Rev. Elsie Rose officiating. Interment to follow at St. Boniface Anglican Cemetery.
