April 27, 1953-November 12, 2019

 

It Is with great sadness that the family of the late David Ben Kung announce his passing on Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at the Northern Lights Regional Hospital in Fort McMurray, Alberta at the age of 66 years. He will lovingly be remembered by his wife, Linda Kung, children Justin Kung (Stephanie), Krista Kung-Little (Casey), and Samantha Kazuya (Daisuke); grandchildren Cooper, Benjamin, and Greyson; brothers Harry Kung (Helen) and Daniel Kung (Dianna); sister Irene Wong (Cam); as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his mother Mee Gin Kung, father Benjamin Kung, brother Robert Kung, father-in-law Joseph Parsons, mother-in-law Evelyn Parson, and sister-in-law, Rhonda Parsons.

A special thank you to Dr. O’Conner, Dr. Denga, and staff of the Fort McMurray Northern Lights Regional Hospital for the exceptional care and attention provided to Dave. Friends may visit Club 64 on Wednesday, November 20th from the hours of 4:00pm to 7:00pm for Dave’s celebration of life. The grave-side service will be held at Mount Patricia Cemetery on Thursday, November 21st at 2:00pm. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
