May 25, 1960 - Nov 18, 2019

 

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ken Burton announce his sudden passing on Monday, Nov 18, 2019 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 59 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Karen; Children: John, Jake and Rachel of Edmonton Alberta. Sister Rosann Brake(Andy) of Deer Lake. Brother Eric ( Karen) of Camrose Alberta. Uncle George Pye (Olivera) of Baie Verte, aunts:  Audrey (Victor) French of Bay Roberts and Kathleen Murphy (Wade) of Birchy Lake. As well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, family and many friends. He was pre deceased by his parents Mose and Jean Burton of Cormack, brother Frank Burton of Cormack, grandparents Frank & Annie Pye of Deer Lake and Frank & Annie Burton of Hay Cove, Placentia Bay.

Ken will be fondly remembered for his zest for life, his laughter, love of fishing and outdoor activities.

Funeral services will take place at Hainstock’s Funeral Home  in Edmonton  (date and time to be announced) and a memorial service to follow in Deer Lake at a later date. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously  accepted and donations can be made to A Dollar A Day Share the Change for Mental Health and Addictions. The family guest book may be signed by visiting www.fillatre’s.ca
