Obituary of Delphine Ruth Shiwak

It is with sadness that the family of Delphine Ruth Shiwak announce her passing on Dec 01, 2019 at the Labrador Health Center at the age of 71 years. She will be sadly missed by her husband Robert Shiwak; children: Debbie, Roberta, Millicent (Mike), Robert (Helen), Stacey (Donald); grandchildren: Megan, Robert John, Andrew, Jenna- Marie, Roxanne, Kelly Lynn, Leanne, Alyson, Jennifer, Jack, Erin, Jacob; six great grandchildren; brothers: Jim, Garfield; sisters: Greta, Lilly, Alvina, Isabel, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Flora and Herbert Blake; brother: Allen; sister: Carol.  Visitation at Fillatre’s Funeral Home on Tuesday Dec.0 3, 2019 from 2 - 4 pm, family only,  Tuesday Dec.03, 2019 from 7 - 9pm for the public. Funeral service will be from the United Church, Happy Valley-Goose Bay on Wednesday, Dec. 04th at 11:00 am, internment to follow at the United Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the United Church of Happy Valley-Goose Bay. Special thanks to the staff at Labrador Health Center for the above and beyond care for our Mother.
