Obituary of Aubrey James Morris

It is with great sadness that the family of the Late Aubrey James Morris announce his passing on Saturday, December 7, 2019 at the Crosswinds Senior’s Resort, Robinson’s, NL at the age of 75 years.  He will be forever loved and missed by his daughter Claudette Morris; son Peter Morris; granddaughter Nakita Morris; brother Ronald Morris; nieces:  Kerry Lee, Wendy, Stephanie; nephews:  Jeffery, Harvey; great-nieces: Isabelle, Berkeley; extended family and life long friends from both Wabush  and St. David’s; as well as other relatives and a large circle of friends.  He will also be missed by the mother of his children Joan.  He was pre-deceased by his parents Augustus & Harriett Morris and brother Roland.  The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the staff of Crosswinds Senior’s Resort for their excellent care and compassion during Aubrey’s time there. To honor and respect Aubrey’s wished cremation has taken place at Humber Valley Crematorium, Pasadena, NL.  Visitation will take place on Thursday, December 12, 2019 between the hours of 6 – 9 p.m. from Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 37 West St., Stephenville Crossing, NL.  As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Crosswinds Senior’s Committee, 303 A Station Rd., Robinson’s, NL  A0N 1V0.
