Obituary of Peter Gerard O'Brien

O’Brien, Peter Gerard – Passed peacefully away surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at the L.A. Miller Centre, Palliative Care Unit. Peter O’Brien age 77 years. Predeceased by his parents: John and Frances O’Brien and sister Helen O’Brien. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his devoted wife of 51 years, Irene (nee Kean); his children: Tammy (Ryan) O’Brien, Tracey (Rick) Pardy, Shannon, Ian (Danielle) and Chad (Gillian); grandchildren: Samantha and Christine Pardy, Liam, Ethan, Gavin, Hannah, Olivia, Aden, Sophia, Cain and Charlie-Ann; great grandchildren: Gunner and Roman Parsons; siblings: Maureen (Willis) French, Dale (Peter) Ledrew, Terry and Anne Morrison, extended family and friends. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home 73 Commonwealth Ave., Mt. Pearl on Thursday, December 12 from 7-9 pm and Friday, December 13 from 10 am – 12 noon. Funeral service will be held on Friday, December 13, 2019 at 2:30 p.m. from St. Peter’s Parish, Ashford Drive. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Galway.
