It is with great sadness that the family of Beatrice Patey announces her passing at the Rufus Guinchard Health Centre Port Saunders on Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at the age of 71 years. She leaves to mourn her sons: Tyrone (Sabrina), Darcy, Cordell & William; granddaughter Lindy Lavers; great grandson Carter; sisters: Elizabeth Howe, Maureen (Ivan) Rumbolt, & Jeanette Caines (Darren); brothers: Darius (Ellen), Patrick (Jane) & John. She was predeceased by husband Melvin; parents: William & Frances (nee Genneaux) Scanlon; and brothers: Donald & Eymard.
Visitation will take place at St. John the Divine Anglican Church Port Saunders on Thursday 7-9 PM, Friday 2-4 PM & 7-9 PM, with a family service Friday at 7 PM. The funeral service will be held at the church Saturday December 21st at 11:00 AM with Rev. Clare Stewart officiating. Interment will follow at Sandy Cove Interfaith Cemetery, Port Saunders. Family and friends may leave messages of condolence by visiting this website. The family entrusted the care and final arrangements to Fillatre Funeral Homes Ltd. Port au Choix.
