It is with great sadness that the family of Chesley Graham Butler (known to friends as "Ches") announces his passing at the May Court Hospice in Ottawa, Ontario, on Sunday, December 22, 2019 at the age of 78. Adoring husband of 51 years to Doris, Loving father to Graham (Tracy) and Sheldon (James), doting grandfather to Scarlet, caring brother to Bryce (Gladys) and Wayne (Gail); jovial brother-in-law and uncle to a large extended family, he will be lovingly missed by all who knew him and never forgotten. Chesley was predeceased by his father Chesley, mother Sadie, stepmother Elizabeth, and brother, Ross.
A memorial service will be held at Bethel Pentecostal Church at a future date. In lieu of flowers, those who so desire may make donations in memory of Chesley to the May Court Hospice, or the Ottawa Heart Institute.
