Hazel Joan Brake (nee Hann) Summerside, NL April 24, 1934 – February 20, 2009 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Hazel Brake (nee Hann) announce her passing at her family residence in Summerside on Friday, February 20, 2009 at the age of 74 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, her companion: Rupert Roberts; son: Texas (Beverley) Wheeler; daughter: Dale (Wayne) Squire; grandchildren: Darren (Tanya) Paddock, Stacey and Texas Jr., Kristine and Anthony Squire; great grandchildren: Megan and Shawn Paddock; sisters: Dora Vincent, Una Lewis (Tom Vincent) and Rosie (Donald) Ivany; brothers: Jordy (Vera) Hann, Ivor Hann (Phyllis Penney), Ernie (Doreen) Hann and Woodrow (Carol) Hann; brother-in-law: Hollis Wheeler; sisters-in-law: Bessie Hann and Mary Hann; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents: Ellen and Herbert Hann Sr., brothers: Harvey Hann, Herbert Hann Jr.; sister: June Wheeler; brothers-in-law: Wallace Lewis and Louis Vincent. Friends may call at Bethany United Church, Summerside, on Sunday from 7-9:00 p.m. and Monday, 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. from where the funeral service will take place on Tuesday, February 24th at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Margie Wood officiating. Interment will follow at Bethany United Church Cemetery, Summerside.
