It is with great sadness that the family of the late Eugene (Dick) Park announce is passing on Tuesday January 14, 2020 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital Palliative Care Unit in Corner Brook at the age of 80 years. Leaving to mourn his wife Ethel, the love of his life of 60 years; his children: Joanne (Adam) Murrin, Kay (Perry) Hussey, Madonna (Chris) Payne, Debbie (Carlos) Curtis, and Tracey (Lewis) Park; grandchildren: Justin (Carly), Nicole (Tyrone), Michael (Steph), Scott, Cordell (Megan), Krystie (Greg), Britany (Patrick), Cameron and Brooke. Great grandchildren: Abigail, Katelyn, Isla, and Rowan; sisters: Mary (Ben) Rowsell, Mildred (Stuart) Tiller, Anne (Robert) Saunders, Veronica (Rick) Brown, Ellen (Stanley) Saunders, Yvonne (Herman) Matthews, and Jacquie (Glen) Rumbolt; sister in-law: Shirley Payne; brothers in-law: David, Russell (Louise) Park, and a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Dominic and Winnifred Park; sisters: Rose Minor, Jane McPhee, and Grace Bailey; Parents in-law: Harold and Emily Park; sisters in-law: Evelyn Piercey, Ada Crane, and Hilda Park; brothers in-law: Harold Park, Willie Joyce, and Cyril Payne. The family will be receiving friends from Emmanuel Pentecostal Church in Cox’s Cove on Wednesday, January 15th from 7-9 pm and Thursday, January 16th from 2-4 and 7-9 pm from where Funeral Service will take place on Friday, January 17th at 2 pm with Pastor Orvin Canning officiating. Interment to follow at the Pentecostal Cemetery, Cox’s Cove. A heartfelt and sincere thank you to all the nurses and staff at the Palliative care Unit for the excellent care given to Eugene during his stay. May God bless you all.
