November 25, 1935 – January 19, 2020
It is with sadness that the family of Melvin Hopkins Zack Park announce his passing on January 19, 2020 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook, NL, at the age of 84 years.
He leaves to mourn his daughter Sandra (Keith) Watts and his son Ivan (Tammy) Park; his granddaughters: Rebecca and Rachel Watts and Alena Park; brothers: Roland (Daisy), Freeman (Nola) both of Cox's Cove, NL, Dougal (Doreen) of Meadows, NL, Hollis (Debbie) of Springhill, NS. As well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Melvin was predeceased by his wife Winnifred Doris Park (Gillett), his parents Priscilla (Parsons) and Frederick Park, his brothers and sisters-in-law Cecil Clarence Park (Millicent); James Park (Mary Alice) and sisters Cynthia Wilson and Mildred Doucette.
In honoring Melvin's wishes a memorial service will be held in Cox's Cove, NL to celebrate his life. Date and time of service to be announced.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Jason Fong and the staff of Western Memorial Hospital for their care and compassion during this difficult time.
