RONALD V. FITZGERALD Corner Brook, NL February 19th, 1932 - February 27th, 2009 	 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ronald V. FitzGerald announce his passing on Friday, February 27th, 2009 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 77 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Helen (nee Hearn), daughters: Maureen FitzGerald, Corner Brook, Kerry (Robert) Shore, Nova Scotia, Nora (Roy) Whyatt, Toronto and Sheila (Paul) Hepditch, Corner Brook; grandchildren: Keith Crocker, Kyle and Evan Shore, Elise and his little buddy Corey Hepditch, brother Edward (Mary) FitzGerald, St. John’s; sisters-in-law: Madelyn FitzGerald, Mary Murphy and Vera Hearn all of Corner Brook. As well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many great friends with the Amateur Radio Club. He was predeceased by his parents Gregory and Nora FitzGerald, brothers Patrick, Raymond and Bernard FitzGerald. Cremation has taken place at Humber Valley Crematorium. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Sunday from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 PM. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, March 2nd at 10:30 AM from The Cathedral of the Most Holy Redeemer, Mount Bernard Avenue with Father Ambrose Hynes officiating. As expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Tourette’s Syndrome Foundation or the Bay of Islands SPCA.
