It is with great sadness that the family of the late William Charles Burden announce his passing on January 29, 2020 in Happy Valley Goose Bay, NL at the age of 80 years. He will be sadly missed by his wife Lily May, children: Garry (Miriam), William Buck (Cathy), Bonnie (Bob), Shawn (Bonnie); grandchildren: Charlotte, Shane, Justin, Daniel, Chelie, Robyn, Kerra, Alexis; great-grandchildren: Kendall, Beau, Kensley, Gracie, Lincoln, Abigail; brother Fred (Vio); sister Clara (Harold) as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents: Charles and Dorothy Burden and his sister Betty. Visitation on Friday, January 31, 2020 from 7 – 9 P.M. and Saturday, February 1, 2020 from 2 – 4 P.M. at Fillatre’s Funeral Home. Funeral service on Sunday, February 2, 2020, 2 P.M. at the Bethel Pentecostal Tabernacle with Pastor Wayne Noble and Reverend Nellie Thomas officiating. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Alzheimers Society of NL and flowers will be accepted. Special thanks to Dr. Yordan Karaivanov, nursing staff of Labrador Grenfell Health, Pastor Wayne Noble, Reverend Nellie Thomas and Josee Morel.
