Obituary of Margaret Mary Linehan

It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we announce the passing of a dear wife, mother, grandmother and sister, Margaret Mary Linehan (nee Lewis) age 72, on Saturday, February 8th, 2020 at the Health Sciences Centre in St. John’s NL after a lengthy illness. She was surrounded by the overwhelming love of her husband, children, granddaughter and siblings during her final days and moments. Predeceased by her parents James and Josephine Lewis (nee Gushue), two infant sisters, along with mother and father in law Edward and Bridget Davis (nee Tremblett).
She is survived with loving memories by the love of her life; husband Basil, her children; Tracey Marques (Carlos), Carl (Lisa), Basil (Pamela) and by her six grandchildren who adored her; Kaely (William), Noah, Breana, Cameron, Savannah and Ava. Also leaving to mourn are her siblings; Agnes Murphy (Tim), Bren (Gerry), James (Delores), Marion Ryan (Tony), Jerry (Yvette), Lori-Ann and daughter Katie. Along with a large circle of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.
Cremation has already taken place
Funeral services will take place on Friday, February 14, 2020 at 2pm at Our Lady Queen of Peace Parish.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Ronald McDonald House NL as this organization is near and dear to the Linehan family.
