Robert Raymond McGinn Sr. October 28, 1939 – February 16, 2020 Robert Raymond McGinn passed peacefully away on Sunday, February 16, 2020 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 80 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his sons Robert Jr. (Cecilia) and Rodney (Juanita); grandchildren: Jason (Jennifer), Nancy (Patrick), Joshua, Jessica (Robert), Destiny, Kirkland, Grant (Jessica), Meagan, Kirsten, Aaron, Ryan, Kara; great- grandchildren Tyler, Katie, Carter, Hunter & Sadie; sister Joy (Gordon) Hussey; sisters and brothers-in-law: Jean McGinn, Dorothy Pike, Lorraine Dowden (Cyril), Lloyd Wareham (Gaye), Louise Strickland; special niece Charmaine Forrester & her son Kenyon, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends. He was predeceased by his loving wife Ruby McGinn, parents Raymond and Audrey McGinn, sister Joan (Bob) Graff, brothers John and Donald McGinn. Thank you to the 1st and 2nd floor staff of Corner Brook Long Term Care for the excellent care and compassion, we will always be grateful. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home 4 St. Marks Avenue Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, February 19 at 11:00 am from Fillatre’s Funeral Chapel with Reverend Andrew Wright officiating. Interment will be held at a later date. As expressions of sympathy memorial donations may be made to Corner Brook Long Term Care in care of the Western Regional Hospital Foundation.
