Geri Bailey It is with great sadness that the family of Geraldine Bailey (Geri) announce her passing at the Health Science Centre in St. John's on Sunday, February 16, 2020 at the age of 66. She leaves to mourn her brother Brian (Jamie) and sister Marilyn Cave, nieces Andrea (Terry) and Cassandra (Justin), aunts Emily Bailey and Geraldine Hicks (Bruce), special cousins Bill (Arthena), Trixie (Jack), Brenda (Colin) and Eric (Darla) as well as a large circle of aunts, cousins and friends. Geri also leaves to mourn an extensive work family and circle of friends gathered through her career working as a nurse practitioner in each Province and Territory of Canada. Geri was predeceased by her parents William and Bessie Bailey and brother-in-law Vince Cave. At Geri’s request, cremation has taken place. A celebration of her life will be held Friday, February 21 from 2-4:30 pm at the Senior Citizens Echo Club, West Street and internment to be at a later date. Many thanks to Doctor's O’Brien and Melvin and the amazing nurses of the CCU/CVICU of the Health Science Center for the exceptional care provided to Geri during her brief stay. As expressions of sympathy, no flowers by request, memorial donations may be made to a charity of ones choice.
