Fred Bennett Stephenville Crossing, NL Mar. 27, 1942 – Feb. 20, 2020 It is with great sadness that the family of the Late Fred Bennett announce his passing at Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital, Stephenville, NL on Thursday, Feb. 20, 2020 at the age of 77 years. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are his five brothers: Freeman (Tellie) of Port aux Basques, Danny (Doreen) of Stephenville Crossing, Leonard (Petra) of Mississauga, ON, Abe (Pam) of Kippen’s, Gene (Janet) of Saskatoon, SK; two sisters: Tavis (Stanley) Bennett of Stephenville Crossing, Cinty (Dan) Hollis of Tobermory, ON; his dedicated care giver of nine years, Ann Marie White; his fur baby Precious and a large circle of nieces, nephews other family and friends. He was pre-deceased by his parents Oma & Norah Bennett and his sister Audrey Tyree. Visitation will take place at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing, NL on Sun., Feb. 23, 2020 between the hours of 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 p.m. The funeral mass will take place from Assumption Parish, Stephenville Crossing, NL on Mon., Feb. 24, 2020 at 10 a.m. with Father Edmund Dantes officiating. Interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery on Brook St., Stephenville Crossing, NL will take place following the service. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to Assumption Parish Food Pantry.
