It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ruby Catherine Maidment announce her passing on February 22,2020 at Labrador Health Center at the age of 72 years. She will be sadly miss by her husband Fred Maidment; children: Liz Myers (Steve),and Shelly Michelin (Frankie);grandchildren Andrew, Aaron, Eric, Julie and Alexander; sister: Marie Coombs (Henry); Irene McCarthy (Woodrow Noel)and Stella McCarthy (Jerome) as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her Parents Ada and John Thomey; baby Son Maidment. Friends may visited Fillatre's Funeral on Monday March 2,2020 from the hours of 7-9 PM. Memorial service will be held on Tuesday March 3,2020 at 11 AM from the United Church, Happy Valley Goose Bay with Marjorie Flowers officiating. As expression of sympathy, donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation. Special thanks to the staff at Labrador Health Center.
