Ula Margaret Walsh June 4, 1936 -February 26, 2020 It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of Ula Margaret Walsh, on Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at Western Memorial Hospital at the of age of 83. She will be lovingly remembered by her 11 children: Rosalie Power (Ray), Nancy Fleming (Walter), Larry Walsh, Kerry Walsh (Joy), Darlene Locke (Jim), Juanita Endicott (Andy), Kenneth Walsh (Paula), Lisa Walsh (Rick), Amanda Hackett (Shawn), Elaine Donahue (Robert), Tina Walsh (Jared); 23 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren; sister Martha Payne (Sterling), brothers: Calvin Hann (Sue), William Hann (Mary); sisters-in-law Elizabeth Hann and Margaret Martin, as well numerous nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her husband David Arthur Walsh, September 21, 2016; sisters Amelia, Emma, Lillian; brothers Charles, Wilburn, Leslie, Winston, Grant; grandchildren Rebecca Park and David Walsh. Special thanks to the girls at Mountain View Estates & the Nurses at Western Regional Hospital on 2D & Palliative Care for your care and compassion. The Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, February 29th at 10:30 am from Sacred Heart Church, Curling Street with Father Jim Robertson officiating. The interment will follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home 218 Curling Street Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the SPCA.
