March 16, 1932 – February 28, 2020
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Irene Alice Stagg announce her passing on Friday February 28, 2020 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 87 years. Leaving to mourn with Fond and loving memories her children: Jennie, Shirley (Fred), Linda (Bert), Eddie (Krissy), Hilda (Fred), Debbie (Jim), and Art (Minnie); grandchildren: 14; great grandchildren: 20; brother: Donald (Lillian), and a circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Edmund in 1991; Parents: Levi and Louise Gillingham; son in-law: Nelson Greening. Cremation has taken place. A service of Remembrance will be held at a later date. A special thank you to the staff at Bay Shore Estates for your continued love and care of mom during her stay at the home. We are forever grateful. As expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Salvation Army Citadel.
