It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ann Hurley announce her passing on March 3, 2020 at the Labrador Grenfell Health Centre, Happy Valley Goose Bay, NL at the age of 61 years. She will be sadly missed by her husband Calvin Hurley; children: Mary Ann Hurley, Gillian Hurley, Ann Philomena Hurley, Seth Hurley and Herbert Hurley; grandchildren: Jenny Ann Hurley, Skyler Hurley, Malakai, Reiko, Manian, Manianish, Aries Benuen, Miguel Holland-Hurley; great-grandchildren: Samuel Hurley, Genevieve Hurley, Rowan Hurley, Sakura Hurley, Savanna Hurley; brothers: Joachim Michel, Max Michel, Simon Michel; sisters: Siska Snow, Helen Gabriel, Mary Lou Michel, Julianna Michel, Elizabeth Williams, Annette Bartmann as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents: Shimun and Manian Michel; daughter: Jennie; sister: Mary May Osmond; brother: Penote Ben Michel; son: Calvin (Pebbles) Hurley; grand-daughter Camilia Penunsi; nephews: Thomas Michel and Clarence Osmond. Visitation on Thursday, March 5, 2020 from 7 – 9 P.M. at Fillatre’s Funeral Home and Friday, March 6, 2020 at 2 McKenzie Drive, Sheshatshiu from 1 – 9 P.M. Funeral service on Saturday, March 7, 2020, 1 P.M. at the Roman Catholic Church in Sheshatshiu, NL with Fr. Joe Vellankanni officiating. Interment to follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery in Sheshatshiu. Special thanks to the Chief and Council, Innu Nation, Sebastian Benuen, Tommy Pone and Mary Pia Benuen.
