It is with great sadness that the family of the late Sidney Lewis Courtney announce his sudden passing on Thursday, March 5th, 2020 at the age of 74 years.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, his mother, Rita; daughters, Ann and Edna; son Sidney (Samourn); brothers Max (Blanche), Ken, Clayton, Jerry and Robert (Norma); sisters: Eileen, Florence (Vern), Jessie, Audrey (Dave), Mary (Dexter) and Christine (Mick); grandchildren: Santana, Justin, Kyle, Tyson, Melissa, Tiffany, Alison and Novalee; great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a large circle of relatives and friends. Predeceased by his wife Mary, father Charles, brother Levi and sister Vivian. Friends may visit Faith United church in Burgeo on Saturday and Sunday, from where the funeral service will be held on Monday, March 9th at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Hamlyn officiating. Interment to follow at Burgeo Community Cemetery.
