Austin Darius Hunt Mt. Moriah, NL October 19, 1940 – March 6, 2020 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Austin Darius Hunt announce his passing on Friday, March 6, 2020 at the Palliative Care Unit at Western Memorial Hospital at the age of 79 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, his wife Shirley (nee Watkins); children: Tim, Todd (Lisa) and Carla; grandchildren: Michael (Raquel), Mark (Eva), AJ (Justine); step-grandchildren: Chantelle (Kashton), Patrick, Rachelle and Justin; brothers: Karl (Doris) Hunt, John (Ina) Hunt, Junior (Peggy) Hunt; great aunt, Clarice Ryan; little buddies , River and Jagger; as well as brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is predeceased by his parents Allan and Lena Hunt, parents-in-law Joseph and Margaret Watkins, brother Gordon Hunt and baby Arabella. Granting his wishes cremation has taken place. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street on Sunday, March 8th from 2-4:00 p.m. And 7-9:00 p.m. There will be no formal funeral service. As expressions of sympathy, flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
