Clyde Durnford June 1, 1932 -March 10, 2020 Passed away peacefully with his family by his side on March 10, 2020, Clyde Durnford at the age of 87years. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 67 years, Lillian; children: Brenda (Ward), Keith (Mabel), Joanne (Hubert), Paulette, Geraldine (Kevin); 13 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren; sister Melita Ashford (Jim), brother Gerald Durnford (Nanette); sisters-in-law Sarah Durnford (Gordon), Mary Andrews; daughter- in- law Denise Durnford, as well numerous other relatives and many friends. He was predeceased by his son Gary, parents Alexander (Sandy) and Sarah Durnford, brother John Edgar Durnford, sister Hilda Green. Special thank you to Dr. Gabrial and Dr. Kellow along with the staff of the Calder Health Care Center, Burgeo for their excellent care and compassion. In keeping with his wish’s cremation has taken place. A celebration of Life Service will be held on Sunday, March 15th, 2020 at 2:00 pm at St. John the Evangelist Church, Burgeo with Reverend Elsie Rose officiating. Interment will take place in the Francois Cemetery at a later date. The family will be receiving friends at the Calder Health Care Center Chapel Thursday, March 12 and Friday, March 13 from 2-4 pm.
