It is with great sadness that the family of the late Betty Hynes (nee Keough) announce her passing on March 10, 2020 at the Labrador Health Centre, Happy Valley Goose Bay, NL at the age of 81 years. She will be sadly missed by her husband Johnny Hynes; children: John (Dayna), Cynthia (Patrick), Trevor (Tracey); grandchildren: Cody, Shane, Alicia, William, Cassandra, Jenna and Maria; brothers: Brendon (Judy) Keough, Michael (Carolann) Keough; sisters: Joan (Ron) Hart, Peg (Stan) O’Brian, Dot (Adrian) Sullivan, Andrienne Keough, Molly (Adrian), Eileen (Conrad) Sullivan as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Thomas and Mary Keough, daughter Edith Marie. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 12, 2020 from 7 – 9 P.M. and Friday, March 13, 2020 from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 P.M. at Fillatre’s Funeral Home. Funeral service on Saturday, March 14, 2020, 2 P.M. at Our Lady of Peace Roman Catholic Church, Happy Valley Goose Bay with Fr. Poulose Kannappilly officiating. As per Betty’s wishes, cremation will take place. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Alzsheimer Society of Canada.
