CLIFFORD PAYNE CORNER BROOK, NL 1946 - 2009 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Clifford Payne announce his sudden passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Thursday, March 12th, 2009 at the age of 63. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 44 years, Margaret (nee Street); daughter, Wanda (Keith); son, Kerry (Lisa) and one granddaughter Mackenzie Miles (his pride and joy); sisters: Lucy Payne, Cow Head, Mavis (Joe) Hatcher, Deer Lake, Geraldine Gaslard, Port Au Choix, Maureen (Harry) Woodman, Corner Brook and Shirley (Dennis) Gaslard, Port Au Choix; brothers: Gordon (Marina), Cow Head, Harold (Loretta), Cow Head and Nathanel (Eva), Fort McMurray; brothers-in-law: Eldon Street, Bruce (Janice) Street and David (Betty ) Street, Corner Brook; sisters-in-law: Frances Street, Corner Brook, Doreen (Joe) Seifert, Colorado, Annie Costello and Lucille Payne, Corner Brook, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Predeceased by his parents, Alexander and Agnes Payne of Cow Head. Clifford had a love of music and entertaining. Visitation will take place from Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue on Saturday from 2-4 for family; and 7-9:00 p.m. for public, and on Sunday, 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Monday, March 16th at 10:00 a.m. from St. Michael’s and All Angels Anglican Church, Park Drive. Reverend Gordon Druggett officiating. Interment to follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery.
