Loughlin Chester Sidney Corner Brook, NL 1930 – 2020 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Chester Sidney Loughlin announce his passing on Saturday, March 21, 2020 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 89 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Vida; son: Terrance; brothers: James (Flo), Carl (Mary deceased), Roland (Joan), sisters: Elva Simpson (Donald deceased), and Linda Jerrett (Fred); sister in-law Lorna Cook (John); brothers in-law Paul Barnes (Wanda), and Reg Nicholas (Marion deceased), and a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Chester was predeceased by his parents Clayton and Nina Loughlin and his sister Mabel Pahl (Arthur), great nephews Joshua Loughlin, and Kyle Butt-Loughlin; sister in-law Jean Hawkins (Eric),and parents in-law Arthur and Morella Barnes. Due to the Covid- 19 restrictions a private family visitation will take place at Fillatre’s Funeral Home 4 St. Marks Avenue from where Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, March 25th with Rev John van Vliet officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers donations may be made to First United Church, Park Street Corner Brook.
