Barbara (Marie) Major
Deer Lake, NL January 28, 1955 – March 24, 2020
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Marie Major announce her peaceful passing on Tuesday, March 24, 2020 in Deer Lake, NL.
She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband Wilson Major of 47 years, daughter Terra (Stuart) Fehrman and son Bradley (Laurie) Major; her parents Tom & Joyce Matchem; brother Eric (Chrissy) Matchem; grandchildren Morgan Fehrman, Frank Major, Brayden, Brooklyn, and Bailey Dyck; father-in-law Dean (Alfreda), brother-in-law Darcy (Heather), sisters-in-law Lorraine (Clyde), Florence (Joseph), Maisie, Darlene and a large circle of nieces and nephews. Marie was predeceased by her mother-in-law Grace Major.
Marie also leaves to mourn her three sponsor children in Uganda.
Marie was involved in the community as an active ACW member and enjoyed spending her time painting which was one of her greatest passions.
Granting her wishes, cremation has taken place at Humber Valley Crematorium, Pasadena, NL.
There will be no formal service at this time.
