It is with great sadness that the family of the late Josephine Violet Pollard announce her passing on Saturday, March 14th, 2009 at the Health Sciences Complex in St. John’s at the age of 65 years. She will be sadly missed by her mother Dorothy Fequet; sisters: Donna Benton, England and Muriel Hudson, Alabama, USA; brothers Howard Fequet and Samuel Fequet, Goose Bay, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Harold Pollard and father Bernard Fequet. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Happy Valley Goose Bay on Wednesday 7-9 p.m. and Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will take place from the Anglican Church on Friday, March 20th at 2:00 p.m. Arch Decon Taylor officiating. Interment following at the Anglican Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Labrador Friendship Centre Senior’s Van Service.
