Jean Rockwell (Johnson), born December 12, 1937 in Little Catalina NL, passed away peacefully, but unexpectedly at Lane’s Seniors home, Irishtown, on Tuesday, March 31st, 2020.
Jean was pre-deceased by her beloved husband of 60 years, Eric Rockwell. parents, Capt Harrison and Mrs. Marjorie Johnson; parents-in-law Dr.Nick and Nancy Rockwell; sister Faye Mouland (Johnson) and brothers Capt Harry Johnson,Wade Johnson, and brothers-in-law Vance Rockwell and Tobias Mouland (Faye)
Left to mourn are her children, Mary-Lynne Rockwell (Don Mendes), Nancy-Anne Rockwell, Todd Rockwell (Sivella Marshall) and grandchildren Joey Sintra, Stephanie Sintra (Brendan Hayter). Sisters Mary Johnson, Marilyn Johnson and brother Winston Johnson. Sisters-in-law Lynne Wilkins, Sandy Rockwell (Vance deceased), Doris Johnson (Harry) and Olive Johnson (Wade). Also left to mourn are many nephews and nieces and a large circle of friends.
Jean was a very gentle and caring soul as evidenced by her long and dedicated nursing career. She was also a very avid golfer and curler, collecting many awards and accolades while pursuing her sporting passions on the course and on the ice.
She had a soft spot in her heart for Pasadena United Church, of which she was a long-time member and supporter and will be greatly missed by the entire congregation.

A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
