It is with great sadness that the family of the late Arthur Henry Wiseman announce his passing on Wednesday, December 29th, 2004 at the J.I. O'Connell Centre in Corner Brook at the age of 92 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Mildred, seven daughters: Joan (William) Dugan, Jean (Bernard) Vincent, both of Corner Brook, Marie (Nelson) Pearce, Eastern Passage, NS, Barbara (Calvin) Locke, Mahone Bay, NS, Margaret (Raymond) Rose, Sharon Wiseman, both of Corner Brook and Helan (Anthony) Beck, Barrie, ON; one son David Wiseman, Toronto, ON; special grandson Tom Wiseman, Corner Brook; 20 grandchildren; 11 great- grandchildren; sister-in-law Geraldine Wiseman, Corner Brook; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his sister Mary Batstone, brothers Stephen, Alexander and Ralph. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark's Avenue, Corner Brook, today, Friday from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 PM. The funeral service will take place from St. Michael's and All Angels Anglican Church, Park Drive on Saturday, January 1st at 2:00 PM with Rev. Derek Thomas officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Receiving Chapel. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or memorial donations may be made to the Diabetic Association or to a charity of one's choice.
