Elizabeth Alexander (Stewart) Colbourne Corner Brook, NL Our beloved mother turned over her last page on April 16, 2020 at Corner Brook long term care where she peacefully passed away at the age of 94. Our hearts are empty but we were blessed to have loved her. Left with many cherished memories are her children, their spouses and families. Daughters, June (Bob) Smith, Peggy (Tom) Lundrigan, Deborah (Stephen) Batten, Carol (Paul) Gallant, Her sons Jeff (Donna), Roy (Marg) along with 15 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Also left to mourn are sisters-in-law, Maureen Colbourne, Marjorie Field, brother-in-law Lloyd (Evelyn) along with many nieces and nephews. Pre deceased by her husband Aubrey, daughter Audrey, son in law and grandson Alonzo and Paul Sheppard. Parents Jim and Emily Stewart, brother Jim, sisters Sadie and Ella and their spouses, all of Belfast Nr. Ireland. Parents in law Fred and Emily Colbourne, brother-in-law Fred Colbourne, sisters-in- law Betty Scaputo, Ruby Shelly, Alma Waugh and their spouses. Heartfelt thanks to the wonderful caring staff of 3 north who took care of mom over the last4 years. Special thanks to Tara who face timed us allowing the family to see mom during this difficult time of Covid-19 restrictions. Our mom dearly loved animals and always carried treats in her pockets for all her furry friends on her daily walks around Townsite area. Due to coved-19 health restrictions there will only be a private family viewing and graveside service. No flowers by request. Donations can be made to SPCA or Alzheimer's society
