Linda GILLAM Port Aux Basques, NL July 13, 1947 - March 19, 2009 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Linda Gillam announce her passing at Dr. Charles LeGrow Hospital in Port Aux Basques on Thursday, March 19th, 2009 at the age of 61 years. Leaving to mourn her husband of 35 years Arthur Gillam; daughter Maxine; sisters: Ida Durnford (Merrill), Kay Ingram (Eric), Sylvia Cawdry (Don); brothers: Horatio (Lucy), Roland (Beverly), James (Marie), Gary, Robert (Harriet); sisters-in-law: Maria Clevett, Holly Connors, Louisa Clarke, Bernice Osmond (Saul); brothers-in-law: Maxwell Gillam, Ivan Gillam (Ann) and Stanley Gillam, as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by parents Georgina and Chesley Bragg; mother and father-in-law Florence and Llewlyn Gillam; bothers-in-law: Henry Clarke and Charles Clevett, and niece Denise Connors. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Port Aux Basques, on Friday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will take place from St. James Anglican Church on Saturday, March 21st at 4:00 p.m. Reverend Clayton Billard officiating. Interment will follow at the Anglican Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
