ZITA MARGARET MCDONNELL ST. GEORGE’S, NL FEBRUARY 13, 1913 … MARCH 21, 2009 It is with great sadness that the family of the Late Zita McDonnell announce her passing at Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital on Saturday, March 21, 2009 at the age of 96 years. She leaves to mourn with many treasured memories her children: Richard (Phyllis) McDonnell, Louise (Kevin) Hines, Elaine (William) Skinner, John (Theresa) McDonnell all of St. Georges, NL Kevin (Gertrude) McDonnell of Drayton Valley, AB; 20 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren as well as other family and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Stephen, parents Louis and Pauline White, and all of her brothers and sisters. Visitation will take place from St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, St. George’s on Monday beginning at 11:00 a.m. from where the Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, March 24, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. with Father Gerard Patry officiating. Interment will follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Court House Road, St. George’s. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted.
