We celebrate the life of Ralph Frederick Humber who passed away at the Corner Brook Long Term Care Centre on Tuesday, May 5, 2020 at the age of 92 years. He was a long-time employee of Corner Brook Pulp and Paper and was well respected and loved by his fellow employees. Left with many years of wonderful memories are his family, daughters, Wanda Cole (Fred) and Donna O’Brien (Lawrence), daughter-in-law, Donna Humber, grandchildren, Stephen Cole (Theresa), Paula Leung (Rick), Colin Humber (Kimberley), Katie Healey (Sean), Bradley O’Brien and Lori O’Brien (Peter Wilson), great-grandchildren, Sarah and Nathan Cole and Keira Leung, sisters-in-law, Millie Crocker and Jessie Humber, and brother-in-law, Gerald Hutchings, along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, William Thomas and Laura (Burton), wife, Ena (2016), son, Jim (2012), brothers, Raymond (Edna), Reginald (Muriel), and Harvey, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, William Crocker, Eric Bailey (Joyce), Roberta Hutchings and Morella Ball. A special thank you to Dr. Coleman and the staff of 2 North Corner Brook Long Term Care for your many years of kindness and care for Dad. Due to Covid-19 Government restrictions, there will be a private viewing for family, followed by burial at Anglican Townsite Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Anglican Townsite Cemetery or a charity of one’s choice.
