Bride Ducey (Barry) June 7, 1921 - May 13, 2020 Curling, NL Our dear Mom, Bride Ducey, passed peacefully away on Wednesday, May 13, 2020, after a long and healthy life, she was 98 years old. Having been born in Marystown, Placentia Bay, she and dad moved to Corner Brook in 1953, and eventually to Curling, where they lived and raised their three children. She was predeceased by her husband Mike in 1995. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, her three daughters: Mary (Lloyd Penny), Sue (Kevin Garnier) and Kim (Mike Audeau); five grandchildren: Carla (Jeff Pawley), Kevin Garnier (Vanessa), Paul Garnier (Erica), Michael Audeau (Kristy) and Jordan Audeau (Janice); eight great-grandchildren: Evan, Matthew, Emily, Joshua, Nolan, David, Owen and Ellie; three sisters-in-law: Beatrice Barry, Marina Barry and Jessie Ducey-Kirby, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. For the last five years, Mom has been a resident of the Lohnes Complex in Curling where she was well cared for, especially as she neared the end of her life. A special thank you to Dr. Culliton and the staff at the Lohnes Complex who ensured Mom's final days were comfortable and peaceful. Due to Covid-19 Government Restriction, there will be a private viewing for family followed by burial at Mt. Patricia Cemetery.
